Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo-Perrysburg

I recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share my experience. I am giving it two stars for a couple of positive aspects. The beds were clean and comfortable, which is important for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the front desk girl who checked us in provided a warm and friendly greeting, making us feel welcome. However, the overall stay was disappointing. The condition of the room left much to be desired. The closet mirror was broken, and the shower curtain was ripped off, giving the room an unkempt appearance. Moreover, the lack of sufficient lighting was a major drawback, as there was only one functioning light and the lamp was not working, resulting in a dim and uncomfortable atmosphere. Another issue was the amenities provided. Unlike most Hilton hotels that offer generously sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, this hotel only provided small amounts, barely enough for a single use. Fortunately, we had brought our own products. Additionally, I'd like to mention that the experience was further marred by a noisy fridge in the room. The constant noise from the fridge was disruptive and made it difficult for us to sleep peacefully throughout the night. I'm writing this review not to criticize, but in hopes that the hotel management will take these points into consideration and make improvements. With a few adjustments, this place could provide a much better experience for its guests.

While the lobby is in good shape the rooms are tired and in need of repairs or a makeover. The fridge did not chill. The sliding shower was not in its tracks and had brown/pink mold(?) On the bottom rail indicating poor cleaning. This hotel was significantly overpriced for its quality. There is also "nothing" nearby, such as restaurants (8-10 minute drive away). I'll avoid this location going forward. Very disappointing for a Hampton Inn (and I've stayed at many!)

Clean rooms and beds (though the settee had an icky stain), friendly service and very pet friendly (though I didn't see any other pets besides my two frenchtons.) Facility was not run down like other Hampton Inns I've seen. Easy access to highways 80/90 and 76. The eggs and sauage for breakfast were nothing to rave about but there are other high-protien choices like hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and peanut butter. It saves a lot of time being able to grab a quick breakfast and be able to head out right to the road instead of finding fast food breakfast and waiting in line. I'd stay here again.
